One of our favorite blogs is of course a blog about food! Who is not happy about that now, at least we are. In this blog we take you to some super nice places to eat. Of course we take a lower budget into account when selecting.
Square Café Wilhelmina
If you want to have a nice evening with your housemates, go to Plein Café Wilhelmina. This restaurant is located in Punda on the Wilhelmina square. You can score a dish of the day here for only 14.50 ANG, hopi cheap. You get a great meal for this and the drinks are affordable. If you really want to take advantage of cheap food, go during one Happy Hour of the restaurant!
You can check via their Facebook page or the Website the new weekly menu. Is there nothing tasty in between? Don't worry, they also have a regular menu with affordable dishes.
Brisa do Mar – Pop's Place
Would you like to taste local food and be pampered by good staff? Then you really should go to this restaurant. They serve very tasty local and affordable dishes here. Of course you can also opt for a more ?European? dish, but we really recommend Stoba Kabritu (goat)!
You find Pop's Place on the Caracasbaaiweg, so you have to drive towards Jan Thiel but it is more than worth it!
Tomatoes
Yes, unfortunately, pick up pizza on Curaçao is about 3 times as expensive as in the Netherlands. Don't worry, we have Tomatoes found on the beach where you can eat pizza for a normal price! You sit here with your feet in the sand, which of course gives this whole experience an extra dimension. Do you want to go out for a day? Then you can go to Pirate bay, which is next to Tomatoes and this restaurant also belongs to Pirate bay. The restaurant can be found in Piscadera, near the Hilton hotel and really worth a visit.
